Squirrel Class

Welcome to Squirrel Class, home to our Year 2 and Year 3 pupils. Squirrel Class is a vibrant and engaging learning environment where children continue to build upon the foundations established in the early years while developing greater independence, confidence and responsibility in their learning.

As children progress through Key Stage 1 and into Lower Key Stage 2, they are encouraged to become curious, resilient and reflective learners. Through a broad and exciting curriculum, pupils are supported to challenge themselves, work collaboratively and develop the skills they need to become successful learners both now and in the future. We place great emphasis on nurturing a love of learning, encouraging children to ask questions, think creatively and take pride in their achievements.

Squirrel Class is taught by Mrs Ashley and Mrs Purser, who work together to ensure that every child is supported and challenged to reach their full potential. They are supported by Mrs Tucker and Mrs Stockman, who play an important role in helping children to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

We are incredibly proud of our Squirrel Class pupils, who demonstrate enthusiasm, kindness and determination every day. They are an important part of the Cardinham Primary School family and continue to grow into confident, capable learners who are ready for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
