Deer Class
Welcome to Deer Class, the oldest class at Cardinham Primary School. Deer Class is made up of our Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 pupils, who play an important role within our school community. As the oldest children in the school, they are expected to be excellent role models, demonstrating our school values through their behaviour, attitude to learning and care for others.
Deer Class is a busy, supportive and ambitious learning environment where children are encouraged to become independent, resilient and responsible learners. As they prepare for the next stage of their education, pupils are given opportunities to take on leadership responsibilities, support younger children and contribute positively to school life.
The class is taught by Miss Mackenzie, who works closely with Mrs Harding, our dedicated support staff member, to ensure all children are encouraged and challenged to achieve their very best. Miss Lyne also works with a range of groups across the school, including pupils in Deer Class, providing additional support and opportunities to help children succeed and flourish.
We are incredibly proud of our Deer Class pupils and the positive example they set for the rest of the school. They are kind, hardworking and enthusiastic learners who embody the spirit of Cardinham Primary School.
