Through regular assessment, pupil progress meetings, careful tracking and high-quality teaching, we closely monitor every child's learning journey. Staff use assessment information to identify strengths, address any gaps in learning and plan the next steps needed to support children in reaching their full potential.
We recognise the importance of keeping parents and carers informed about their child's progress. Strong home-school partnerships help children achieve their best, and we are committed to communicating regularly with families throughout the year.
Parents and carers receive updates on their child's attainment, progress and personal development at several points during the academic year, including:
- Parent Consultation Evenings, where families have the opportunity to discuss their child's progress and next steps with class teachers.
- A mid-year report, providing an overview of attainment, progress and effort.
- A full end-of-year report, celebrating achievements and outlining progress across the curriculum.
